About me

Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Hayley and I am the creator here at Little Dot Designs. I am located in the Hunter Valley, NSW and make a range of personalised and custom made gifts and home decor.

I am a Mumma to two beautiful little kids, Harvey and Ivy and a wife to the bald man himself, Chris. My background is teaching and one day I do aspire my first passion.

Little Dot Designs was actually born out of my inability to work a regular 9-5 job due to ongoing and progressive chronic health issues (with still no definitive answers). While trying to manage my symptoms and keep up with appointments a vision emerged. I have always had a love for crafting and making, and have various skills and years experience across many platforms, including my Cricut. After much research and deliberation I took the plunge to get into what I really wanted to do, laser cutting and engraving. I could no longer sit around not working, so I invested in myself and started my own business, something I can work around my health and my family. Something I have always pondered in the back of my mind but never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever be able to do, silver linings am I right? Anyway, thank you for coming along on this journey with me and following me as I take the plunge into the small business world!
